Main Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Orgvue, a London-based provider of Strategic Workforce Management software. The transaction marks Main Capital Partners’ first platform investment in the UK. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Main plans to work with Orgvue’s management team to support the company’s next stage of growth, focusing on product innovation, international expansion, deeper penetration among enterprise customers, and selective strategic add-on acquisitions.
Orgvue provides a cloud-based platform that helps large organizations design, plan, model, and optimize their workforces. The company employs approximately 250 people and has offices across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
The company serves nearly 200 global enterprise customers, including HM Government, Mars, Danone, and Aviva. More than 50 international consulting firms also use Orgvue for workforce transformation and organizational planning projects.
Main sees structural growth opportunities in Strategic Workforce Management software as companies face increasingly complex operating environments and need more continuous visibility into workforce structures. Orgvue’s platform combines a proprietary data model with cloud-native technology and workforce-planning expertise.
The companies plan to expand Orgvue’s international reach while pursuing acquisitions that can broaden its product capabilities and geographic presence.
Main Capital Partners manages approximately €12 billion in assets and has more than 55 software companies in its portfolio. Its underlying portfolio companies collectively employ approximately 15,000 people.
