Main Capital Partners has appointed Jorn de Ruijter and Daan Visscher as Partners, expanding the firm’s leadership team as it continues to scale internationally and further professionalize its organization.

De Ruijter joined Main in 2016 and has led the firm’s fund structuring and investor relations efforts, including helping raise more than €5.5 billion in recent years and building an investor relations team of five professionals, according to the firm. Visscher began at Main in 2017 in the Benelux investment team and later played a role in expanding the firm’s footprint in the Nordics by helping open the Stockholm office in 2019. In January 2023, he co led the launch of Main’s affiliated office in Boston, and the firm said the Boston team now has eight professionals and has completed five platform investments. Main added that Visscher most recently led the investment in TrustArc, and that he currently serves as co head of North America and Investment Director, with board roles across several Main portfolio companies including Cloud Coach and LuxSci.
