Main Capital Partners: Majority Investment In Xait

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jul 21, 2025

Main has announced its majority investment in Xait, a Norwegian provider of collaborative document solutions specializing in complex document creation and CPQ (Configure, Price, and Quote) services. As a strategic partner, Main will support Xait’s management team in its growth journey and help the company become a global leader in these fields through a selective buy-and-build strategy.

Xait serves over 300 blue-chip clients, primarily in the energy and renewables, capital goods, and business services sectors, with the majority of revenue generated outside the Nordics. Its flagship product, XaitPorter, enables efficient team-based creation of large proposals and critical documents.

The acquisition of Xait leverages the attractive dynamics of rapidly growing markets for CPQ and collaborative document creation, which are fueled by digitalization and increasing automation needs. With a strong international presence in Western Europe and the United States, Xait aims to expand further, aided by Main’s expertise in cross-border growth. The management team will remain engaged after the acquisition to ensure continued progress.
