Majestic Labs: Over $100 Million Raised To Launch Next Generation AI Server Architecture

By Amit Chowdhry ● Nov 10, 2025

Majestic Labs has emerged from stealth with more than $100 million in financing and unveiled a next-generation AI server architecture designed to resolve the growing mismatch between memory capacity and compute power in advanced AI workloads. Founded by former Google and Meta engineering leaders, the company has introduced a system capable of delivering 1000 times the memory capacity of current top-tier GPU servers and consolidating what typically requires multiple racks of equipment into a single server.

AI model sizes, datasets, and training clusters have continued to expand rapidly, yet the industry’s memory infrastructure has not kept pace. In current environments, organizations frequently overprovision compute resources to access sufficient memory. Majestic Labs aims to realign this imbalance by significantly expanding accessible memory bandwidth and capacity while maintaining top-level compute performance.

The company’s architecture integrates both hardware and software, enabling hyperscaling of memory in familiar development and operations environments. By doing so, it addresses the memory wall problem, where data movement bandwidth struggles to keep up with compute demand. The result is a server configuration with the compute capacity of leading GPU and TPU systems, but with 1000 times the available memory and substantially more efficient operational scaling.

The platform is designed for the most demanding AI workloads, including models with extensive context windows, a combination of experts, and a range of agent architectures, agentic AI systems, large-scale reasoning applications, graph neural networks, and extreme-scale analytics. The company claims significant gains in performance, power efficiency, cost effectiveness, and data center footprint through consolidation and reduced resource consumption.

Majestic Labs was founded by Ofer Shacham, Masumi Reynders, and Sha Rabii, who previously worked together building custom silicon platforms at Google and Meta. The team has collectively led the development of AI silicon and systems deployed at a global scale, holding more than 120 patents. The company’s investors include Bow Wave Capital, which led the Series A financing, along with Lux Capital, SBI, Upfront, Grove Ventures, Hetz Ventures, QP Ventures, Aidenlair Global, and TAL Ventures.

With the new funding, Majestic Labs plans to expand its engineering organization across data science, systems architecture, silicon development, and software, alongside advancing customer pilot deployments and further developing its full software stack.

Majestic Labs states that its mission is to make advanced AI infrastructure more power-efficient, scalable, economically accessible, and environmentally sustainable while supporting the next generation of large-scale AI applications.

KEY QUOTES:

“Majestic is built on a simple and powerful insight: AI’s next leap forward will come from access to more powerful AI infrastructure, and more powerful AI infrastructure requires a reimagination of the memory system. Majestic servers will have all the compute of state-of-the-art GPU/TPU-based systems coupled with 1000x the memory. Our breakthrough technology packs the memory capacity and bandwidth of 10 racks of today’s most advanced servers into a single server, providing our customers with unprecedented gains in performance and efficiency while slashing power consumption.”

Ofer Shacham, Co-Founder and CEO

“Majestic allows for a level of scalability and operational efficiency that simply isn’t possible with traditional GPU based systems. Our systems support vastly more users per server and shorten training time, lifting AI workloads to new heights both on-premises and in the cloud. Our customers benefit from tremendous improvements in performance, power consumption and total cost of ownership.”

Sha Rabii, Co-Founder and President

“Majestic has engineered a new system for AI from the ground up, encompassing silicon, IO, packaging, and software, that is specifically tailored for the most advanced AI workloads. The team is making the most powerful AI accessible at an unprecedented scale, providing an opportunity to truly reshape how AI is delivered globally.”

Shahin Farshchi, Partner at Lux Capital

“This is an extraordinary team that has identified today’s most critical constraint in AI. Majestic has a clear understanding of customer pain points and is focused on addressing the critical challenges in scaling AI inferencing: performance, power and efficiency. Majestic’s is the best solution we’ve seen for addressing the memory wall problem facing all AI models. Their architecture literally replaces multiple racks with a single server.”

Itai Lemberger, Founder of Bow Wave Capital

“AI infrastructure is scaling at unprecedented speed, but the industry has not solved key fundamental architectural inefficiencies. Majestic addresses this by delivering immediate operational gains on today’s workloads while maintaining full programmability and flexibility to adapt as AI evolves beyond transformer-based models.”
