Mamava, a market leader in lactation infrastructure, has acquired TalkBox, a Colorado-based designer of sound-resistant privacy booths used for calls, meetings, telehealth, and wellness. The deal marks a significant expansion of Mamava’s mission as the company broadens its focus from lactation support to a full suite of privacy and wellness spaces for workplaces and public environments.
Founded in 2013, Mamava pioneered the lactation pod category and has installed thousands of pods nationwide. The acquisition of TalkBox strengthens its position as a provider of human-centered, supportive spaces that offer comfort, dignity, and privacy.
TalkBox, founded in 2015, has built a reputation for high-quality privacy booths serving offices, hospitals, and public facilities. Founder Ross Shell will remain with the company as an advisor following the acquisition.
Mamava said the deal allows it to expand its product portfolio to serve the needs of parents, patients, and professionals seeking quiet, private, or wellness-focused environments in an increasingly hybrid and flexible work culture.
