Maneva announced that it has raised $27 million in Series A funding to accelerate its mission of addressing inefficiencies across the global manufacturing industry. The round was led by U.S. Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Bling Capital and Freestyle Capital, bringing the company’s total funding to $38.4 million.
Founded in 2021 by Rae Jeong and Kelvin Chan, Maneva is building what it describes as the intelligence layer for modern manufacturing. The company’s Video-to-Action AI platform uses deep learning computer vision and agentic AI systems to transform existing factory cameras into real-time operational decision-making tools.
According to the company, manufacturing generates approximately $46 trillion in annual output, yet the average factory operates at only 60% efficiency, creating an estimated $18 trillion efficiency gap. Maneva aims to help manufacturers close that gap by improving uptime, quality, safety and productivity without requiring costly infrastructure overhauls.
Maneva’s patent-pending VITA and ALIS agents run on NVIDIA edge devices and connect to existing camera systems. VITA focuses on quality assurance and downtime reduction, making accept, reject or reroute decisions up to 30 times per second. ALIS functions as an AI line supervisor, monitoring safety conditions and productivity across facilities in real time.
The company serves customers across industries including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, automotive, electronics, steel, glass, wood products and distribution. The new capital will be used to advance its AI capabilities, expand into new geographies and industries, and introduce additional factory orchestration and AI knowledge agent features.
