Manna Air Delivery has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round to accelerate its expansion across the United States and Europe, bringing its total funding to $110 million. The round was led by ARK Invest, with participation from Schooner Capital and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, alongside existing investors including Coca-Cola HBC and Molten Ventures.
Founded in 2019, Manna operates one of the world’s most active consumer drone delivery networks, having completed more than 250,000 regulated commercial UAV flights across Ireland, Finland, and Texas. The company focuses on suburban last-mile delivery, transporting items such as food, medical supplies, books, and clothing directly to customers’ homes within minutes.
The company plans to scale significantly in the U.S., targeting up to 40 new operational bases. This expansion builds on seven years of operational experience and growing partnerships with major platforms including Uber, Deliveroo, Just Eat, and DoorDash. Through these integrations, customers can order via partner apps or Manna’s platform, with autonomous drones delivering goods in as little as three minutes.
Manna’s technology is designed to reduce congestion and emissions while improving delivery efficiency. The company reports that its drone-based system can cut CO₂ emissions by up to 85% compared with traditional road delivery. Deliveries are lowered safely to homes using biodegradable tethers and recyclable packaging.
The platform is also positioned as a solution for local retailers, enabling profitable suburban delivery without the infrastructure costs associated with road-based logistics. Manna has demonstrated positive unit economics in these environments, a key milestone for drone delivery viability.
With regulatory certification under the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and continued engagement with U.S. regulators such as the Federal Aviation Administration, Manna is aiming to build foundational infrastructure for next-generation logistics powered by autonomous aerial vehicles.
