Marauder Capital announced it has added Bryan Hoffman and Pedro Buhigas as operating partners, expanding the Fort Worth-based private investment firm’s operating bench as it targets growth across energy and industrial services.

The firm described the appointments as a step in the continued buildout of its platform and operating capabilities, with an emphasis on execution, operational insight and long-term value creation.

Hoffman brings a background in utility services and infrastructure, and will support Marauder across sourcing, underwriting and portfolio company development, with a focus on in-basin electrification, utility interfaces and other critical infrastructure considerations. Marauder said Hoffman previously served in the U.S. Air Force and founded multiple utility and energy-services businesses, most recently building KVP Energy Services and exiting the company to a middle-market private equity sponsor.

Buhigas adds operating, technology and systems expertise, and will advise Marauder and select portfolio companies on operational efficiency, enterprise systems and the application of advanced analytics and AI in established businesses. He currently serves as chief information officer of Kodiak Gas Services (NYSE: KGS) and has held senior roles at Basic Energy Services, TETRA Technologies, Stallion and Microsoft, according to the firm.

Marauder said its operating partner model is intended to pair experienced operator perspectives with investment teams and portfolio leadership, with an aim of supporting scalable execution and long-term value creation.

Marauder Capital is based in Fort Worth and focuses on acquiring and building energy and industrial services businesses, partnering with management teams to develop durable platforms through operational discipline and long-term strategic alignment.
