March Networks and VIVOTEK recently announced the merger of VIVOTEK’s branded business with March Networks, combining their capabilities to create a broader, end to end video security portfolio spanning cloud, hybrid, and on premise environments. The deal is expected to close in mid April, following Delta Electronics completing its purchase of the remaining VIVOTEK shares it does not already own.
The combined organization will be led by Peter Strom, President and CEO of March Networks, and aims to scale operations globally while accelerating innovation in AI powered video surveillance and analytics. The integration brings together March Networks’ expertise in enterprise video management and business intelligence with VIVOTEK’s strengths in advanced cameras, AI capabilities, and direct to cloud video technologies.
Both companies will continue operating under their existing brands, with customers and partners maintaining access to the same teams, platforms, and support structures. VIVOTEK’s manufacturing business will remain independent, while its branded business becomes part of March Networks.
The merger significantly expands the combined company’s global footprint, with operations across more than 70 countries and expected annual revenue exceeding $200 million. The organization will also include over 300 engineers across research and development centers in Ottawa, Taipei, Poland, and Italy, along with a network of more than 1,100 certified channel partners worldwide.
March Networks, headquartered in Ottawa, has over 25 years of experience serving financial institutions, retailers, and other enterprise customers with AI driven video intelligence solutions. VIVOTEK, founded in Taiwan, has built a global presence with IP cameras, video management software, and cloud security services, and has been part of Delta Electronics since 2017.
