Mariner, a national financial services firm, has launched Mosaic Value Partners, a $1.3 billion wealth management firm founded by John Buckingham, Jason Clark, and Christopher Quigley through its Mariner Independent platform. The firm commenced operations on April 24 and represents the largest firm to debut on Mariner Independent to date, supported by three additional team members, including two licensed professionals.
Mosaic Value Partners is built on a value-investing foundation, combined with a holistic wealth management model. The founding team had previously developed a widely followed investment research publication reaching tens of thousands of subscribers through weekly commentaries, monthly market updates, and long-form investment research. As part of the launch, the team plans to rebuild this platform under the name Value Investor Perspectives.
The launch reflects the team’s intent to reestablish an independent operating model while broadening the scope of services delivered to clients. Through Mariner Independent, Mosaic Value Partners gains access to integrated capabilities, including advanced planning, estate and tax strategies, insurance solutions, and operational support from an in-house team of specialists. The platform is designed to allow advisors to scale their businesses and operate with greater autonomy while delivering more comprehensive advice.
