Mark Foods has acquired Endeavor Seafood, a Newport, Rhode Island-based importer and marketer of frozen seafood products. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition expands a relationship that began in 2021, when Mark Foods made an equity investment in Endeavor. Mark Foods will now fully integrate Endeavor’s operations and employees into its broader seafood platform.
Endeavor was founded in 2001 by Mike Bush, Todd Clark and George Souza. The company’s leadership team brings extensive experience in seafood sourcing and supply chain management.
Endeavor focuses on meeting customer requirements involving product specifications, supply continuity, sustainability and on-time delivery. Its capabilities will complement Mark Foods’ sourcing, processing and distribution operations.
Bush and Clark will continue with Mark Foods following the transaction. Souza plans to retire but will remain involved in an advisory capacity.
Mark Foods expects the combination to expand its seafood offerings and strengthen service for retail, foodservice and wholesale customers. Integrating Endeavor’s supplier relationships and industry expertise could also support product development and procurement across the combined organization.
The acquisition is the latest in a series of strategic investments by Mark Foods. The company acquired Bristol Seafood in 2025, Arista Industries’ Seafood Division in 2023 and Openwater Seafoods in 2021.
Founded in 2002, Mark Foods generates more than $1 billion in annual revenue. The company imports, processes and markets premium seafood sourced from fisheries and aquaculture producers worldwide.
Mark Foods operates value-added production facilities in Orlando, Florida, and Portland, Maine. These locations process more than 20 million pounds of seafood annually for retailers, restaurant chains and foodservice distributors.
