Marktlink Capital: €520 Million Raised For Two Funds

By Amit Chowdhry ● Aug 16, 2025

Investment firm Marktlink Capital has raised €520 million from approximately 1,000 Dutch entrepreneurs and families for two new funds. This capital will be invested across various private equity and venture capital funds, benefiting hundreds of strong companies.

Since its founding in 2020, Marktlink Capital has raised over €2.5 billion, making private equity and venture capital accessible to private investors. Its innovative fund-of-funds model enables nearly 2,000 investors to access funds typically reserved for institutional investors.

Recently, Marktlink Capital closed its fifth private equity fund-of-funds at €440 million, exceeding its €300 million target in about six months.

The funding will be invested in eleven private equity funds, including Hg and Adams Street Partners. Simultaneously, the company also closed its third venture capital fund, raising a maximum of €80 million, with part of the investment already in successful firms, such as the Swedish platform Lovable, which reached €100 million in revenue within a year.

KEY QUOTES:

“Despite, or perhaps because of, these turbulent economic times, we have succeeded in raising a record amount for one of our funds.”

“Geopolitical tensions, trade tariffs, and the declining appeal of real estate as an asset class are increasing uncertainty in the stock market. Investors are therefore increasingly turning to broader, more diversified investment strategies.”

“The funds we have selected offer a good mix of Dutch, European, and North American funds that are aligned with current market conditions. Several have already started investing, and the first valuations are coming in higher than expected.”

“These are exciting times for venture capital. The AI revolution, developments in biotech, and renewed attention for (cyber)security bring many opportunities. We believe enormous prospects still lie ahead for investors, and we are pleased to give them access to this attractive but hard-to-reach asset class.”
