Marsh McLennan Agency, a business of Marsh, announced that it has acquired Seitz Insurance Agency, a Sidney, Montana-based independent agency. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1961, Seitz Insurance provides commercial and personal insurance solutions to businesses and families across the region, with a particular focus on agriculture, crop, and energy industries. The firm expanded its footprint in 2023 through the acquisition of Bishop Insurance Services, strengthening its offerings in Montana’s Flathead and Mission Valley areas.
As part of the transaction, all Seitz Insurance employees, including principals and co-owners David Seitz and Camila Skinner, will join Marsh McLennan Agency and continue operating from their current locations. The acquisition enhances MMA’s presence in eastern Montana, complementing its existing network of offices across central and western parts of the state.
Marsh McLennan Agency operates as part of Marsh, a global professional services firm advising clients in more than 130 countries across risk, reinsurance, consulting, and investment solutions.
