Marshall Land Systems has been acquired by Indigenous Canadian investment firm Flowing River Capital Partners, marking a significant ownership transition completed on November 21, 2025. The deal aligns with the Marshall Group’s long-term strategy and brings together a century of British engineering heritage with Indigenous led investment focused on economic reconciliation.

Flowing River Capital Partners, headquartered in Saskatchewan, is known for pursuing long-horizon growth strategies across manufacturing, agriculture, technology, and industrial sectors. The firm said the acquisition allows it to expand its defence portfolio at a time when Canada and allied nations are continuing to strengthen national capabilities and international partnerships.

Marshall Land Systems designs and delivers deployable, platform-integrated capabilities for defence and national security customers worldwide. The company maintains major operational facilities in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Netherlands, supporting specialized vehicles, field infrastructure, shelters, command-and-control systems, and integrated medical platforms, such as deployable CT scanners.

Under its new ownership, Marshall is expected to accelerate global expansion, supported by Flowing River Capital’s emphasis on community stewardship, sustainability, and collaboration. The company employs more than 600 people and traces its engineering roots to Cambridge, UK, where the Marshall Group contributed historic innovations ranging from the nose of the Concorde aircraft to early hydrogen fuel cell technology used in the Apollo program.

Executives from both organizations expressed confidence in the acquisition’s growth trajectory. They emphasized shared values, an aligned commitment to sustainable expansion, and the opportunity for Marshall to strengthen its role as a supplier supporting NATO forces and allied defence customers worldwide.
