Mastercam Canada has completed the strategic acquisition of longtime channel partner In-House Solutions, marking a significant step in expanding the company’s direct presence in the Canadian manufacturing market. Following the transaction, In-House Solutions will operate as Mastercam Canada, integrating its regional expertise with the global capabilities of Mastercam, a leading CAD/CAM software provider and part of the Sandvik Group.

The acquisition strengthens Mastercam’s ability to support manufacturers across Canada by transitioning from a channel partner model to a direct operational structure. By bringing In-House Solutions fully into the organization, Mastercam aims to provide faster response times, deeper regional engagement, and more tailored support for customers operating in Canada’s manufacturing sector.

In-House Solutions has been a longtime Mastercam partner with extensive experience serving Canadian manufacturers. Its integration into the Mastercam organization is expected to enhance the company’s ability to deliver technical support, training programs, and specialized expertise that address the specific challenges faced by manufacturers in the region. The move also allows Mastercam to build closer relationships with customers while leveraging the scale and resources of its global technology platform.

Mastercam said the transition will enable improved service delivery, including accelerated problem resolution, expanded training opportunities, and the deployment of regional specialists who understand the unique requirements of the Canadian manufacturing industry. The integration is designed to strengthen collaboration between Mastercam’s global development teams and the Canadian customer base.

The acquisition aligns with Mastercam’s broader growth strategy, which combines product innovation with targeted acquisitions to enhance the customer experience and expand service capabilities. As part of the Sandvik Group’s digital manufacturing portfolio, Mastercam continues to develop connected manufacturing technologies that help manufacturers increase productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness.

Mastercam is widely used across industries ranging from aerospace to medical manufacturing, with more than 450,000 installations worldwide since its founding in 1983. The company focuses on delivering advanced CAD/CAM solutions that enable manufacturers of all sizes to tackle complex machining challenges while improving operational performance.

Sandvik Group, Mastercam’s parent company, is a global engineering organization focused on providing technology and solutions that improve productivity and sustainability in industries including manufacturing, mining, and infrastructure. The group operates in about 150 countries and employs roughly 41,000 people worldwide.

With the addition of In-House Solutions as Mastercam Canada, the company aims to deepen its regional engagement while continuing to leverage its global expertise in digital manufacturing technologies.
