Matrice.ai, which develops modular Vision AI Factories for real-world applications, has announced an expansion of its seed funding round led by Voltage Park, with additional support from Ax3.ai, Plug and Play Ventures, and a group of notable angel investors.
The company currently powers hundreds of live cameras across the energy, retail, and public sectors in the Middle East and the Philippines. This funding round highlights Matrice.ai’s market presence as it plans to expand into North America and Europe.
With Voltage Park’s backing, Matrice.ai aims to accelerate the development of real-time computer vision solutions for environments such as oil fields, retail spaces, smart cities, and stadiums.
How the funding will be used: This investment will be utilized to rapidly develop AI pipelines for applications such as flare detection, crowd analytics, and queue monitoring, as well as scale systems for broader deployment and expand operations in North America and Europe to meet growing demand.
