Mave Health, a neurotechnology company, has raised $2.1 million in seed funding to support the launch of its consumer wearable headset designed to improve focus, mood, and stress regulation. The round was led by Blume Ventures with participation from Stanford Angels, Dhaval Shroff, Raymond Russell, and other investors.
The company has already completed a 500-person beta program ahead of its public release. Based on self-reported data after four weeks of use, 80% of users reported productivity gains exceeding 60%, average mood improvements reached 77%, and 75% of users reported stress reductions above 50%.
Mave’s wearable leverages transcranial direct current stimulation, a technology studied for over 25 years with more than 10,000 published research papers. The device delivers low-intensity electrical stimulation to the prefrontal cortex, a region associated with attention, emotional regulation, and stress response.xx
Users wear the headset for 20 minutes daily while performing regular activities such as working, reading, or meditating. The company states that most users begin noticing improvements within 15 to 20 days, with benefits compounding over time. The product is paired with an app that enables session tracking, protocol personalization, and progress monitoring, without collecting brain data.
The headset weighs 100 grams, offers up to one month of battery life on a single charge with regular use, and operates at an intensity of 1 to 2 mA. It also integrates with fitness wearables to track correlations with sleep, heart rate variability, and other physiological metrics.
Mave is currently available for pre-order at $495, with shipping expected to begin in April 2026 across the United States and India. The product does not require a subscription.
Founded in 2023 and based in San Francisco and Bengaluru, Mave Health is focused on building non-invasive neurotechnology solutions to enhance cognitive performance and everyday mental resilience.
KEY QUOTES
“The brain is the most complex system we rely on every day, and modern life is constantly overloading it. We expect it to perform at peak levels without giving it the support it needs. Instead of chasing short-term boosts that come with long-term costs, we believe in strengthening the underlying systems that drive focus, mood, and stress regulation. Our approach is to use neurotechnology that is proven to be safe, effective, and easy to use. Most of us only think about mental health when something goes wrong. That is why my co-founders Jai Sharma, Aman Kumar, and I started Mave. We are giving people the ability to regain control over their focus, energy, and clarity so they can perform at their best and live more fully every day.”
