Maxwell Power Secures Additional $800 Million Commitment From Fairtide Partners

Maxwell Power secured an additional $800 million investment commitment from Fairtide Partners to purchase battery storage and solar power projects.

The latest commitment increases Fairtide’s total capital commitment to Maxwell projects to $1.8 billion.

Fairtide previously committed $250 million in 2024 and another $750 million in June 2026.

Maxwell plans to use the new capital to expand solar and battery storage systems for residential and small commercial customers.

The company said it helped customers secure more than $100 million of future energy savings during 2026.

Maxwell will also use the funding to expand its Maxwell Power Plan into additional markets.

The company provides solar and battery storage systems under long-term power purchase arrangements intended to help customers lock in energy savings.

Since 2018, Maxwell has invested more than $1.5 billion and estimates that its customers have generated approximately $300 million in savings.

Maxwell also relocated its headquarters from San Diego to Salt Lake City.

Fairtide Partners invests in infrastructure, tax equity, and private equity.
