Mayer Brown announced that Chris McGarry joined the firm as a partner in its global Structured Finance and Private Capital groups. And he joins from White & Case, where he led the firm’s European collateralized loan obligations (CLO) practice and English law securitization practice.
Chris has experience advising arrangers, issuers, and sponsors on securitizations, including leveraged loan CLOs, infrastructure CLOs, commodities securitizations, residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities, consumer credit securitizations, whole-businesses securitizations, and esoteric asset classes. He advises clients across sectors, including financial services, energy, metals, mining, and agriculture, and advising on a range of ESG and sustainability matters.
