Mayer Brown announced that Samuel Dibble has joined its expanding San Francisco office as a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice, strengthening the firm’s M&A and emerging company and venture capital capabilities. Dibble joins the firm from Baker Botts LLP.
Dibble advises public and private companies, investment funds, and entrepreneurs on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets financings, and ongoing corporate governance and outside general counsel matters. His experience spans M&A, joint ventures, equity and debt financings, and corporate advisory work across industries, including food and beverage, alternative energy, wine, and emerging sectors such as blockchain and crypto.
His addition bolsters Mayer Brown’s global M&A practice, which recorded a strong year in 2025, advising on 312 deals with an aggregate value of nearly $159 billion, including 38 transactions valued at $1 billion or more. The hire also follows several recent additions in Northern California across real estate, hospitality, and litigation.
