Yasser Madriz, the former managing partner of McGuireWoods’ Houston office, joins the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Houston. He focuses on complex commercial litigation, upstream energy disputes, and large transactional conflicts, and is recognized for first-chair trial experience and leadership. His background includes building high-performing teams and maintaining strong ties across Houston and Latin America.
Meghaan Madriz joins the Corporate & Securities practice in Houston, where she advises on labor and employment structures, transactions, and executive-level matters. Her experience includes litigation involving trade secrets and noncompete issues, as well as supporting private equity and M&A transactions. She brings a hybrid practice spanning advisory, litigation, and transactional work.
Gregory Krock, based in Pittsburgh and assigned to Washington, DC, adds significant experience in energy litigation, including disputes across the Marcellus region, Midwest, and eastern oil and gas markets. His practice includes representing energy companies in state and federal courts and appellate proceedings.
Miles Indest and Jason Huebinger join the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Houston, while Wolfgang McGavran joins the same practice in Washington, DC. Collectively, the group adds depth in commercial, energy, infrastructure, and appellate matters, and serves clients across oil and gas services, chemicals, technology, retail, and healthcare sectors.
