International law firm McDermott Will & Emery announced it welcomed Jason Zemmel as a partner in its Transactions Practice Group. Based out of London, Jason’s practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity (PE) matters within the healthcare sector.
Zemmel is active in the health and social care sectors, spending nearly three decades in the UK market. He was previously co-head of the international PE group at the law firm CMS. And Zemmel has advised many clients, including PE firms, management teams, corporates, investors, and advisers on PE, M&A, corporate finance, and other commercial transactions.
Zemmel’s arrival follows the recent hires of Graham White, Fatema Orjela, Christopher Kandel, Darren Rogers, Devina Rana, John Burge, Sebastien Bonneau and Candice Nichol in London.
