McElroy Metal has acquired Fabral, bringing the nearly 60-year-old metal construction brand into the McElroy Metal family of companies. Under the terms announced, Fabral will continue to operate independently and will retain its existing leadership team, employees, and customer relationships. Dennis Merino will remain President of Fabral.
McElroy Metal, which describes itself as an employee-owned manufacturer of metal roofing, siding, and related building products, said the acquisition expands its presence in the metal construction market while maintaining continuity for Fabral’s customers, vendors, and partners.
McElroy Metal was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Bossier City, Louisiana. The company said it operates 14 manufacturing facilities across the United States. Fabral, founded in 1967 as Fabral Metal Wall and Roof Systems, is known for metal roofing and metal cladding products used across U.S. building projects.
