MCF Advisors announced the acquisition of Hoff Bujnoch & Associates, a Newport, Kentucky-based wealth management firm overseeing approximately $250 million in assets under management, as the registered investment adviser expands its presence in Northern Kentucky.
The acquisition adds to MCF’s financial planning and wealth management capabilities and strengthens the firm’s regional footprint serving families, business owners, and retirement plan sponsors.
Hoff Bujnoch & Associates is led by Digger Bujnoch, CFP, and operates through a planning-focused and relationship-driven service model. As part of the transaction, Bujnoch joins MCF as Senior Financial Advisor and Partner alongside the rest of his team.
According to MCF, the HBA team will gain access to expanded investment oversight, tax and estate planning resources, retirement planning support, and business-owner advisory solutions through MCF’s broader platform.
The transaction closed on April 29, 2026, and represents MCF’s third acquisition since partnering with Wealth Partners Capital Group and HGGC’s Aspire Holdings platform in March 2025.
MCF Advisors was founded in 2004 and oversees approximately $4.68 billion in assets as of March 31, 2026. The firm is headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky.
Wealth Partners Capital Group said the acquisition aligns with MCF’s broader strategy focused on long-term advisor partnerships, cultural alignment, and disciplined growth.
