McGraw Hill has acquired Teachally, adding an AI platform designed to accelerate K-12 curriculum development while giving educators additional tools to customize instructional materials for individual classroom needs.
Teachally was co-founded by Daniel Bernstein and Rushil Makkar and develops AI technology specifically for high-quality curriculum creation and classroom instruction.
The platform enables educators to create, localize and translate standards-aligned instructional materials while grounding those materials in existing curriculum content.
McGraw Hill plans to integrate Teachally’s technology into its K-12 portfolio to shorten curriculum development cycles and improve the speed at which new and updated products can reach U.S. and international markets.
The technology is also expected to make it easier for McGraw Hill to adapt curriculum across different academic standards, languages, levels of rigor and student readiness.
For educators, the acquisition expands McGraw Hill’s use of AI for lesson planning, assessments, enrichment activities and differentiated instruction.
The company intends to embed those capabilities directly into classroom platforms teachers already use rather than requiring educators to move into separate AI applications.
McGraw Hill said its approach will combine Teachally’s AI with its existing curriculum and pedagogical expertise, allowing teachers to personalize instructional content while keeping materials grounded in established academic content.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
