MCO, also known as MyComplianceOffice, has secured more than $100 million in strategic growth financing from Accel-KKR Credit Partners, a private credit fund managed by software-focused investment firm Accel-KKR. The financing will support MCO’s product development, artificial intelligence initiatives, technology team expansion, and growth as financial institutions seek more integrated solutions for managing increasingly complex compliance requirements.
The transaction builds on a relationship between MCO and Accel-KKR that began in 2020, extending a multiyear partnership focused on developing the company’s compliance management technology.
MCO provides integrated software designed to help financial services companies manage regulatory obligations across employee activities, communications, financial transactions, and third-party relationships.
Its MyComplianceOffice platform consolidates compliance processes, data, and supporting evidence into a single system, reducing the need for disconnected applications and manual procedures.
The additional capital will enable MCO to increase investment in its technology teams and accelerate the development of AI-powered capabilities intended to improve efficiency and oversight within compliance departments.
Over the past year, MCO has expanded its platform to address emerging financial products and regulatory requirements. These developments include personal trading compliance capabilities for digital assets and prediction markets.
The company has also introduced AI-powered functionality covering trade alert summarization, intent-based communications monitoring, and policy assistance.
Trade alert summarization is intended to help compliance professionals review potentially problematic trading activity more efficiently, while intent-based communications monitoring supports the identification of risks within employee and business communications.
MCO’s broader strategy involves combining these capabilities with its existing compliance management infrastructure to help financial institutions evaluate information and maintain oversight across multiple regulated activities.
The company serves more than 1,500 client organizations across over 125 countries, supporting financial institutions seeking to move away from fragmented systems and manual processes.
Its growth financing comes as financial institutions invest in technology to address expanding compliance obligations across traditional securities, digital assets, employee activities, and third-party relationships.
Accel-KKR has more than $23 billion in cumulative capital commitments and invests in software and technology-enabled businesses through buyouts, minority growth investments, and credit financing.
Its Accel-KKR Credit Partners business provides flexible debt capital for acquisitions, shareholder transactions, and growth investments. The fund has completed more than 100 investments and deployed approximately $1.7 billion in capital.
For MCO, the financing provides additional resources to develop AI-enabled products, expand its technology organization, and strengthen its position in the global financial services compliance market.
