Western Smokehouse Partners, a producer of premium “better-for-you” meat snacks, has acquired Junior’s Smokehouse, a Texas-based manufacturer of handcrafted jerky and other meat products. The deal expands Western’s national footprint and adds manufacturing capacity and product capabilities to support growing customer demand.

The acquisition is Western’s first since Monogram Capital Partners reacquired the business in the first quarter of 2025. Since that transaction, Western has expanded from five to eight facilities and doubled production capacity, and the addition of Junior’s is positioned as a continuation of that expansion strategy.

Founded in 1985 and based in El Campo, Texas, Junior’s has grown from a family business into a scaled production partner serving private label customers. With the transaction, Junior’s becomes part of Western’s manufacturing network across Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Idaho, and Texas. Western also said it plans to break ground on a second manufacturing facility in El Campo in early 2026 to support customer growth.

Monogram said the deal aligns with its broader approach of investing in supply chain assets in fast-growing categories where scale and reliability are important. The firm also highlighted its broader co-manufacturing portfolio, including Mountaintop Beverage and Prime Matter Labs, and noted it closed an oversubscribed $350 million third fund in the third quarter of 2025.

KEY QUOTES

“This acquisition reinforces our strategy to invest in supply chain assets with a high degree of know how in rapidly growing categories where scale, quality, and reliability matter. Junior’s shares many of the same qualities that initially drew us to Western – family ownership, deep category expertise, and a long history of trusted customer relationships. Bringing these two businesses together is a natural continuation of our partnership with Western and advances our strategy of building scaled, high-quality manufacturing platforms.”

Jared Stein, Co-Founder and Partner, Monogram Capital Partners

“Joining Western Smokehouse Partners marks an exciting new chapter for our team. Their commitment to quality and investment in people gives us confidence that our work will not only continue but grow in new and meaningful ways.”
