Medicare Platform has secured a $50 million revolving credit facility facilitated by Nestpoint Group to expand its network of Accountable Care Organizations and invest further in AI-powered healthcare infrastructure.
The financing will support accelerated onboarding of ACO partners across the U.S., increase investment in Medicare Platform’s proprietary artificial intelligence and data capabilities, and expand support for physicians and provider groups participating in value-based care.
Medicare Platform operates as an AI-first manager of Accountable Care Organizations and Medicare Advantage risk-bearing organizations.
Its technology helps healthcare providers identify higher-risk patients sooner, coordinate care more efficiently, prevent avoidable medical utilization, and improve financial performance under shared-savings and risk-based arrangements.
The company sees primary care physicians as central to improving outcomes for Medicare patients while controlling overall healthcare spending.
Medicare Platform’s AI and analytics tools provide physicians and provider groups with information designed to identify opportunities for earlier intervention and better chronic disease management.
The financing comes as accountable care continues expanding across Medicare.
More than 14 million Medicare beneficiaries are receiving coordinated care through ACOs in 2026, according to the company.
Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs earned approximately $4.1 billion in shared savings during the most recent performance year while generating $2.5 billion of net savings for Medicare.
Medicare Platform’s strategy is aligned with increased emphasis on prevention, management of chronic illnesses, and whole-person care.
The company seeks to improve outcomes without relying on narrow provider networks or restrictions on patient choice.
Its model is designed to allow physicians to maintain independent clinical judgment while using technology and financial incentives to support interventions that can improve health and lower total cost of care.
The $50 million facility will also support payments to physician organizations participating in programs that Medicare Platform believes have demonstrated clinical and financial effectiveness.
Nestpoint Group facilitated the credit line.
The Dallas-based firm combines private equity investment, strategic advisory services, capital formation, and government relations.
Nestpoint sees Medicare Platform as infrastructure for the continued expansion of value-based healthcare, combining population health management with proprietary AI and data systems.
For Medicare Platform, the additional liquidity provides capital to scale its technology and provider network as more physicians and healthcare organizations transition away from traditional fee-for-service reimbursement.
KEY QUOTES:
“This capital lets us grow faster where it matters most, ensuring that Primary Care Physicians are appropriately valued in their efforts to keep seniors healthy, at home, and out of the hospital. Doctors are the fulcrum, and when powered by technology, they can accurately balance clinical excellence and fiscal responsibility.”
“Every high-risk patient our technology identified earlier and every avoidable complication we help prevent means a better life for a deserving senior and real savings for the Medicare Trust Funds. Medicare Platform leverages years of proven successful clinical actions, financial management and targeted interventions to yield significant decreases in morbidity, mortality, and total cost-of-care.”
“There is no narrow network or other barrier to care that we rely upon. Seniors retain choice, maintaining health and longevity, Doctors maintain independent clinical judgement, and the nation saves taxpayer money. By deploying funds and resources appropriately, we can reliably achieve the quadruple aim.”
Dr. Brian James, COO of Medicare Platform
“America’s health leaders are rightly demanding a Medicare program that rewards prevention, tackles chronic disease at its roots, and delivers real value for patients and taxpayers alike, and private capital should be part of the answer.”
“Medicare Platform pairs disciplined Medicare population management with proprietary AI and data assets, exactly the infrastructure the value-based care ecosystem needs to improve population health at scale. We were proud to put this facility together to help Medicare Platform deliver healthier seniors and a stronger Medicare.”
