Medisolv, a healthcare quality data management company, announced that it has acquired Lilac Software, an AI-driven predictive analytics company focused on Medicare Advantage Stars performance. The deal expands Medisolv’s capabilities in predictive, AI-powered quality intelligence to help healthcare organizations manage increasingly complex value-based care models.
Founded more than 25 years ago, Medisolv provides clinical quality measurement and regulatory reporting solutions to hospitals, health systems, and accountable care organizations. The company supports more than 1,800 hospitals nationwide and manages data from more than 150 million patient records. According to the company, this footprint represents nearly one-quarter of U.S. hospitals.
With the acquisition, Medisolv will add claims-based quality measurement, HEDIS performance analytics, and predictive insights to its existing platform. The integration is intended to help healthcare organizations identify risks earlier and improve performance under value-based reimbursement programs.
The deal also broadens Medisolv’s ability to support both provider and payer organizations as value-based care requirements evolve. Lilac’s AI-enabled patient outreach technology will be incorporated into Medisolv’s solutions to support emerging patient engagement initiatives, including patient-reported outcome performance measures and information transfer workflows. The goal is to enable healthcare organizations to collect critical quality data and engage patients at scale.
By combining provider clinical data with payer claims-based insights, the integrated platform aims to provide a more comprehensive view of quality performance while reducing the administrative burden associated with healthcare quality reporting.
Lilac’s technology will also help healthcare organizations identify and close care gaps through predictive analytics and scalable patient outreach, supporting performance improvement across value-based care programs.
