MedScout has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Chris Edwards as Chief Operating Officer, Cassie Sixt as Vice President of Customer Success and Mark Isham as Vice President of Engineering as the company scales its commercial technology platform for the MedTech industry.
Edwards will lead MedScout’s commercial strategy and operational execution, including the infrastructure supporting its go-to-market organization, revenue operations and commercialization activities.
He brings more than a decade of consulting and technology experience.
Before joining MedScout, Edwards held leadership roles at L.E.K. Consulting and Storable.
At Storable, he led a high-growth, multi-product software-as-a-service business and helped scale its commercial operations.
MedScout said Edwards will focus on helping the company expand the value its platform delivers to medical technology sales and marketing organizations.
Sixt joins MedScout as Vice President of Customer Success.
She will lead the expansion of the company’s customer success organization and work with clients to increase adoption, value and business outcomes from MedScout’s platform.
Sixt previously held customer success and client partnership leadership positions at Definitive Healthcare and Forrester.
MedScout also appointed Mark Isham as Vice President of Engineering.
Isham brings more than 25 years of engineering experience building enterprise-scale analytics platforms and has also founded startups.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at FullStory.
The appointments come as MedScout focuses on helping medical device and diagnostics companies incorporate AI into their commercial operations.
Its market intelligence platform is designed to help MedTech sales and marketing teams identify priority opportunities, optimize territories and build relationships with physicians.
MedScout said AI is increasingly changing how MedTech companies approach sales, creating opportunities for organizations to use market data and technology to identify potential customers and determine which commercial actions to take next.
The new executives will help MedScout scale its operations, engineering organization and customer relationships as demand for those capabilities grows.
The announcement identifies the engineering executive as Mark Isham in its appointment list, although a later paragraph in the release refers to him as Marsh Isham.
KEY QUOTES:
“What drew me to MedScout was the long-term vision for the market. Vendors in this market are trying to become the system of record, driving switching costs so high that customers end up stuck. MedTech teams don’t need a forced, vendor-defined ontology of their business. They need to know where the opportunity is, and what to say next.”
Chris Edwards, Chief Operating Officer Of MedScout
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Chris, Cassie, and Mark to the MedScout team. AI is reshaping how MedTech teams sell, and their experience will be instrumental as we help organizations turn that shift into new business, faster.”
Skylar Talley, CEO And Co-Founder Of MedScout
