Meradia Adds Glen Robertson As Director To Expand SimCorp And Investment Transformation Expertise

Meradia has appointed Glen Robertson (pictured above) as director, adding more than two decades of investment operations, technology implementation and business transformation experience as the consulting firm expands its capabilities for asset and wealth management clients.

Robertson will be based at F2 Strategy’s West Chester, Pennsylvania headquarters and will lead strategic consulting engagements focused on operating model transformation, technology strategy, systems implementation and data-driven initiatives.

He will also advise executive teams, support business development and mentor consulting teams as Meradia expands its advisory capabilities.

Robertson brings particularly deep experience with SimCorp, having spent more than a decade guiding institutional investment managers through complex programs involving the investment management technology platform.

He joins Meradia after 11 years at SimCorp, where he held progressively senior leadership positions in the United States, Australia and Singapore.

Most recently, Robertson served as senior principal service engagement manager.

In that position, he led strategic service engagements, supported client implementations and worked with investment managers to increase the value generated from their technology investments.

His appointment expands Meradia’s SimCorp expertise at a time when investment managers are increasingly modernizing technology platforms and redesigning operating models.

Before joining SimCorp, Robertson spent eight years at Vanguard.

His responsibilities there included investment operations, business analysis, product development and project leadership.

Robertson also supported business transformation initiatives and the launch of new investment products during his tenure at Vanguard.

At Meradia, he will work with investment managers on projects spanning operating models, technology platforms, data and broader transformation initiatives.

He will also help develop client relationships, contribute industry thought leadership and represent the firm at industry conferences and events.

Meradia sees growing demand across North America for consultants with direct experience managing large-scale operational and technology transformations.

Investment managers are continuing to invest in enterprise systems while attempting to improve operating efficiency, data capabilities and the integration of technology across their organizations.

Robertson’s background spanning both investment operations and technology implementation is intended to help Meradia advise clients across those interconnected areas.

Meradia is part of F2 Strategy and specializes in operations, data and technology transformation for asset and wealth management organizations.

The firm has worked with investment managers, asset owners, wealth managers and technology providers since 1997.

F2 Strategy provides consulting, managed services and research services across wealth management, bank and trust, and asset servicing markets.

Robertson holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance from Monash University and has been a SimCorp Certified Professional since 2015.
