Mercer Global Advisors announced the expansion of its executive leadership team with the appointment of Melissa Nims as Chief Solutions Officer and Jeremiah Barlow as Chief Commercial Officer, as the firm sharpens its focus on delivering integrated family office services and expanding client value.
The leadership additions follow a period of record organic growth and reflect the firm’s strategy to enhance its national family office platform while continuing to scale its capabilities across markets.
Nims joins Mercer Advisors after nearly two decades at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where she held senior leadership roles and helped build one of the largest wealth management platforms globally. In her new role, she will lead the expansion of Mercer Advisors’ wealth solutions platform, including tax, estate, trust, insurance, and business management services. She will also oversee a team of more than 250 professionals and work closely with the firm’s 40-plus markets to integrate these capabilities into local client delivery.
Barlow assumes the newly created Chief Commercial Officer role after more than a decade leading the firm’s Solutions organization. During his tenure, he built out key specialty teams, including financial planning, tax and estate planning, insurance, and trustee services, while helping develop national markets and ultra-high-net-worth offerings. In his new position, Barlow will focus on developing new client offerings, expanding market reach, and leading the evolution of the firm’s marketing organization.
