MES Life Safety announced the acquisition of Northeast Rescue Systems, expanding the company’s offerings in technical rescue and personal protective equipment across the New England region. The deal enhances MES Life Safety’s capacity to supply equipment and support to first responders and other professionals working in situations that pose an immediate threat to life or health.
Northeast Rescue Systems, founded in 1997 and based in Dedham, Massachusetts, supplies specialized rescue tools, protective gear, detection equipment, thermal imaging, and technical rescue hardware to public safety agencies and industrial safety teams. The addition of the company enables MES Life Safety to increase fulfillment speed, expand product lines, and deliver integrated support solutions across the region.
MES Life Safety has built a national footprint of service centers, mobile technicians, and specialized sales teams since 2001. Its portfolio spans fire service equipment, law enforcement gear, industrial safety products, and emergency response support. By incorporating Northeast Rescue Systems’ expertise and customer relationships, MES Life Safety aims to broaden the availability of technical rescue resources for departments and organizations that rely on mission-critical equipment in high-risk environments.
The leadership teams stated that the partnership is intended to enhance service capabilities while continuing to support frontline personnel who operate in life-threatening situations. Northeast Rescue Systems will continue its focus on field reliability and product knowledge while gaining access to MES Life Safety’s national infrastructure and distribution network.
The companies emphasized that the acquisition aligns with a shared commitment to providing the highest level of support to first responders and safety teams throughout New England and beyond.
