Meta Platforms has officially launched a new creator incentive initiative, according to an announcement on its newsroom, aimed at attracting high-profile creators from competing platforms including TikTok and YouTube to Facebook. The program, called Creator Fast Track, introduces guaranteed payments and expanded content reach as part of the company’s broader push to strengthen its position in the creator economy.

The initiative is designed to make it easier for established creators to grow their audiences and monetize content on Facebook. As outlined in the announcement, creators who qualify for the program will receive increased distribution for their content, particularly Reels, along with direct financial incentives over a limited period.

Under the program’s structure, creators with at least 100,000 followers on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube are eligible to earn $1,000 per month, while those with more than one million followers can receive up to $3,000 per month. These guaranteed payments are offered for three months, after which creators can continue earning through Facebook’s broader monetization tools.

Meta said the program is part of a larger investment in creators, noting that Facebook paid nearly $3 billion to content creators in 2025, representing a 35% increase year over year and the highest annual payout total to date. The company emphasized that monetization opportunities extend beyond short-form video, with earnings available across Reels, Stories, photos, and text posts.

In addition to financial incentives, Meta is introducing new performance metrics within its Facebook Content Monetization program. These include measures such as qualified views, earnings rate per 1,000 views, and explanations for non-qualified views, providing creators with more transparency into how their content generates revenue.

The Creator Fast Track program also grants participants immediate access to Facebook’s monetization ecosystem, enabling them to earn from subscriptions, tips, brand partnerships, and engagement-driven payouts. Eligibility requires creators to post a minimum number of Reels within a set timeframe, ensuring consistent activity on the platform.

The move underscores Meta’s ongoing effort to reposition Facebook as a primary destination for content creators, particularly as competition intensifies with platforms that have historically dominated short-form video and creator monetization.
