Stilla is joining Meta about eight months after launching its multiplayer AI agent platform for teams and businesses, bringing its technology and expertise to Meta as the tech giant expands AI products for business use. Stilla did not disclose financial terms or the transaction structure in its announcement.
Stilla said its existing service will continue operating, and the company will maintain the agent platform customers currently use for mission-critical work.
The platform is designed to connect with the tools an organization already uses, capture relevant business context, and transform that information into approved work.
Unlike AI systems centered primarily on answering questions, Stilla has positioned its agents around carrying out operational work within companies.
The company said customers are already using Stilla to recursively build products from end to end for supply chains serving millions of people, scale customer onboarding at a rapidly growing company and monitor a major investment portfolio.
Stilla describes its approach as giving an AI agent enough company and workflow context to do meaningful work, while emphasizing trust and integration into how organizations operate.
By joining Meta, Stilla expects to gain access to the scale and resources of one of the world’s largest AI companies while contributing its business agent expertise to Meta’s own AI products.
The move comes only months after Stilla launched, highlighting growing strategic interest in AI agents that can perform multistep work for organizations rather than functioning solely as standalone assistants.
