MFG Partners announced it has sold AZ Wire & Cable, a master distributor of industrial, commercial, and specialty wire and cable, to LindFast Solutions Group (LSG), a portfolio company of Nautic Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1988, AZ Wire & Cable provides a range of value-added services, including cutting, reeling, paralleling, striping, and coiling. The company is headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, and operates additional locations across New York, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, California, and Oregon.
MFG said that since its investment in 2022, it partnered with AZ’s management team to expand the business, including opening new locations in California and Florida, completing strategic acquisitions to broaden products and services, and investing in inventory to support growth.
Support: Lincoln International served as financial advisor and Goodwin Procter served as legal counsel to AZ and MFG.
