Microsoft has introduced a new premium workplace software package designed to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence tools across enterprises. The company unveiled Microsoft 365 E7, a new AI-focused bundle that integrates productivity software, security services, and AI agent management capabilities into a single offering.
The plan, described as the “Frontier Suite,” is aimed at organizations adopting an AI-first approach to operations. Microsoft said the package is designed for what it calls a “human-led, agent-operated enterprise,” where employees use AI agents to automate tasks and workflows at scale.
Microsoft 365 E7 bundles several existing products and services into one package, including Microsoft 365 E5, Microsoft 365 Copilot, the Entra security and identity suite, and a new platform called Agent 365. Agent 365 acts as a control system that allows companies to govern and scale the use of AI agents across their organizations.
The company said the suite is designed to convert “human intent into AI action,” allowing employees to use AI-powered productivity tools alongside enterprise-grade security and governance features.
Microsoft also plans to encourage upgrades from the existing Microsoft 365 E5 tier. Beginning April 1, 2026, the company will incorporate Agent 365 into its Copilot + Power Accelerate initiative, including use cases such as immersion briefings, proof-of-concept engagements, and deployment accelerators for partners and customers.
Microsoft said the new bundle will be generally available starting May 1, 2026.
