Microsoft has just announced a new 50-inch Surface Hub 2S touchscreen TV device. The Surface Hub 2S is a thin and sleek all-in-one digital whiteboard. And it also serves as a meetings platform and collaborative computing device.
Microsoft made the Surface Hub 2S easy to move around as it can be wheeled from room-to-room with a separately sold Steelcase Roam — which is a system of mobile stands and easy-to-install wall mounts that Steelcase co-developed with Microsoft for the Surface Hub devices. Plus it also works with an APC Charge lithium-ion battery system to enable true mobility.
The Surface Hub 2S also immersively brings remote teams together. Through the Surface Hub 2S, everyone in a remote meeting can be seen and heard through the 4K Surface Hub 2 Camera, far-field mics, clear speakers, and 4K+ resolution screen.
With the Surface Hub 2S, users can collaborate across devices. And you can project wirelessly to share content with Miracast and sign in to access Office 365 files. Plus it natively runs Microsoft apps like Microsoft Edge and Office along with essential business apps.
