Midland Industries, a portfolio company of Gemspring Capital, announced it has acquired Trading Services International, strengthening its product portfolio and expanding its presence in HVAC and OEM markets. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1988, Trading Services International is a value-added distributor of fittings, valves, coils, and specialized components, primarily serving the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration sectors. The company is known for sourcing hard-to-find aluminum, copper, and brass products and maintaining long-standing relationships with OEM customers through a global supply chain network.

TSI’s technical expertise and differentiated sourcing capabilities are expected to complement Midland’s existing platform, enabling the combined company to deliver more comprehensive solutions and improved service to customers.

The transaction also strengthens Midland’s global sourcing network and supports its strategy of expanding value-added distribution services across industrial and HVAC segments.
