MikeWorldWide: HudsonLake Acquisition Expands Workforce Communications And Change Management Capabilities

MikeWorldWide announced the acquisition of HudsonLake, a strategic communications firm specializing in organizational transformation, employee experience, and workforce communications. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

HudsonLake will continue operating as “HudsonLake, a MikeWorldWide company” following the acquisition.

MikeWorldWide said the acquisition expands workforce strategy and employee communications into the firm’s core offerings, enabling a more integrated approach to corporate reputation management across employees, consumers, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

HudsonLake brings expertise in organizational transformation, leadership communications, talent strategy, employer branding, recruitment marketing, and labor and workforce relations. The firm has advised organizations including Toyota, 7-Eleven, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, PeaceHealth, and Halperin Park.

MikeWorldWide said the combination strengthens its corporate communications and advisory practice, particularly across labor relations, crisis communications, transportation, healthcare, and public affairs.

As part of the broader expansion strategy, MikeWorldWide also announced plans to relaunch and expand its Washington, D.C. Metro office to support communications, regulatory, and public affairs initiatives for clients navigating government and policy-related issues.

The acquisition follows MikeWorldWide’s prior acquisition of Berk Communications and further expands the firm’s integrated communications platform spanning corporate communications, digital strategy, influencer engagement, AI, analytics, sports marketing, and workforce communications.

MikeWorldWide operates as an independent public relations and communications agency with more than 200 professionals across North America, EMEA, and LATAM.
