Milhaus has completed its acquisition of Broadshore Capital Partners, combining an institutional investment management and lending operation with Milhaus’ vertically integrated multifamily development, construction, and property-management platform.
Broadshore is an SEC-registered investment manager with operations in Los Angeles and New York and more than 35 years of experience managing equity and debt investment strategies. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.
Broadshore will operate under the Milhaus umbrella.
The transaction follows Milhaus’ spring 2026 merger with Sares Regis Group Residential, which expanded Milhaus into a national multifamily platform.
The addition of Broadshore gives the company direct relationships with institutional investors including pension funds, insurance companies and international investors.
The combined business will be able to pursue both debt and equity investment opportunities on behalf of institutional capital partners.
Milhaus also gains investment-management and lending capabilities that complement its existing development, construction and property-management operations.
The combined property-management platform oversees more than 50,000 multifamily units.
Milhaus believes integrating investment management with its operating capabilities will allow the company to identify acquisitions, execute development and construction plans, operate assets and manage investor capital through a single national platform.
Broadshore executive Brad Howe has been named Milhaus’ Chief Investment Officer and is joining the company as a shareholder alongside Broadshore principals Russell Munn and James Pomeranz.
Milhaus said the transaction could accelerate its strategic growth trajectory by five to 10 years by adding institutional capital relationships and investment capabilities that would otherwise have taken considerably longer to develop internally.
