MIND Raises $72 Million Series B As Revenue Grows More Than 17X

MIND, an AI-native data loss prevention platform, has raised $72 million in Series B funding as the cybersecurity company scales rapidly amid growing enterprise adoption of generative and agentic AI. Crosspoint Capital Partners led the round, with participation from existing investors YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group. The financing follows MIND’s $30 million Series A approximately one year earlier and brings total funding to $112 million.

MIND said revenue increased more than 17-fold during the past year while its customer base grew eightfold.

The company’s technology has analyzed billions of data events in real time across generative AI, agentic AI and traditional IT environments and has prevented sensitive data loss across hundreds of thousands of endpoints.

MIND is attempting to modernize the long-established data loss prevention market for an environment where both employees and autonomous AI systems can access and move sensitive information at much greater speed.

Its platform discovers sensitive information across SaaS applications, generative AI tools, AI agents, endpoints, on-premises file shares, and email.

MIND then classifies information using both content and contextual signals, identifies risky activity and can automatically remediate exposure or block potentially unsafe actions in real time.

The company has also introduced MIND AI DLP Agents, autonomous agents intended to take over much of the routine work involved in operating enterprise DLP programs.

MIND said it was the first data security company admitted into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program and the first to receive ISO/IEC 42001 certification for responsible AI.

Customers cited by the company include Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the National Geographic Society.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles uses MIND to identify and prevent protected health information from entering AI tools, while National Geographic uses the technology to identify and label sensitive documents, restrict public sharing and gain visibility into interactions between corporate data and AI agents.

MIND will use the Series B to accelerate product development, expand into additional enterprise markets, deepen technology and channel partnerships and grow its workforce.

The company is positioning its broader platform around what it calls “Stress Free DLP,” combining data security posture management, loss prevention and insider-risk capabilities with autonomous remediation.

KEY QUOTES:

“Security leaders are being asked to protect data that moves at AI speed with complex, manual and incomplete tools designed for a slower world. DLP is a massive, established market, but it was not built with AI in mind. AI is accelerating the problem, giving people and autonomous systems new ways to access and move sensitive data at unparalleled speed. It also gives us the technology to reinvent how that data is protected.”

Eran Barak, Co-Founder and CEO of MIND

“AI is fundamentally changing data security, increasing the importance of a unified approach to DLP that can help protect sensitive data wherever it lives or moves. Since our Series A investment and MIND’s selection as an RSAC Innovation Sandbox finalist, MIND has demonstrated strong momentum.”
