Mindsmith, a Provo-based AI-native e-learning platform, has raised $4.1 million in seed funding to expand its approach to corporate training that merges artificial intelligence with modern learning science. The funding round was led by Next Frontier Capital, with participation from WndrCo, Grix, and several notable industry founders, including Pluralsight co-founder Aaron Skonnard and Lucid co-founder Karl Sun. Skonnard has also joined Mindsmith’s board of directors.

The company’s platform is designed to help learning and development teams rapidly convert static content into interactive training programs. Mindsmith reports that organizations can create instructionally sound training experiences up to 12 times faster than traditional authoring methods. The platform supports real-time collaboration, SOC 2 compliance, enterprise-grade security, and seamless integration with existing learning management systems, making it an ideal solution for large-scale corporate environments.

Mindsmith’s customers include HubSpot, Laing O’Rourke, Gaylor Electric, and multiple Fortune 500 companies across industries such as manufacturing, energy, IT services, finance, hospitality, and cybersecurity. The platform also offers analytics to track course performance and help organizations improve training outcomes over time.

The team plans to expand its workforce over the next year as demand for AI-driven training solutions increases, particularly among organizations seeking to improve training efficiency, productivity, and long-term employee skill development. Mindsmith’s founders see the company as part of Utah’s growing presence in enterprise technology and learning innovation.
