Mindtrip, an AI-powered travel platform, said it has secured new investments from Capital One Ventures and United Airlines Ventures as it rolls out new product capabilities that broaden its focus from trip planning into local experiences and hospitality workflows.

The company said the new backing adds to an investor group that already includes Amex Ventures, Costanoa Ventures, and Forerunner Ventures. Mindtrip positioned the participation from a significant financial institution’s venture arm and an airline-affiliated venture group as support for its approach to using AI to help travelers discover, plan, and act on personalized recommendations while also giving destinations and hotels new tools to engage guests.

The investments follow Mindtrip’s description of a milestone quarter that included multiple launches. One of the most significant additions is Mindtrip for Hotels, a B2B suite designed to help hotel properties convert their own website content and concierge expertise into customized trip plans. Mindtrip said the product allows hotels to provide tailored recommendations for nearby attractions, events, activities, and dining before guests arrive, while also handling common guest questions instantly, including during off-hours. The company said the goal is to reduce routine inquiries for hotel teams, support a more seamless guest experience, help properties differentiate, and encourage extended stays.

Mindtrip also introduced a new events capability intended to help users find what is happening around them, whether they are on vacation, traveling for work, or staying local. The company said the feature enables discovery of concerts, festivals, theater openings, farmers markets, art walks, and similar experiences, and allows users to add events to itineraries, view them on a map, share with friends, and book when applicable.

In addition, Mindtrip said it has expanded its in-app inspiration tools to make it easier for users to capture ideas from across the internet and turn them into structured plans. The company said travelers can now share inspiration directly into the Mindtrip app from sources such as articles and social platforms, with Mindtrip appearing as an instant share option. Mindtrip said the app then extracts key details and lets users ask questions, save places into collections, or add them to an existing trip.

Mindtrip said its platform combines more than 11 million points of interest with insights drawn from more than 40,000 local travel guides to generate personalized recommendations. The company also reported that its customer audience has grown by more than ten times since launch and said it has partnered with more than 35 destinations. Mindtrip cited partnerships that range from national tourism organizations and island destinations to state and regional tourism groups and city partners, including Brand USA, The British Virgin Islands, Visit Costa Rica, Discover Puerto Rico, The Islands of the Bahamas, Visit California, Travel Nevada, The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, See Monterey, Visit Myrtle Beach, New Orleans & Company, and Visit Truckee-Tahoe.

With the added capital and product scope, Mindtrip is positioning itself to serve both consumers and commercial partners that want to guide travelers toward activities, events, and on-the-ground experiences, while keeping planning and booking actions closer to the moment of discovery.
