MiQ Acquires Rocket Lab To Expand AI-Powered Mobile App Growth Capabilities

Global programmatic media company MiQ announced it has acquired Rocket Lab, a move designed to strengthen its mobile in-app capabilities and accelerate global expansion in high-growth markets.

The acquisition brings together Rocket Lab’s expertise in mobile app user acquisition and engagement with MiQ’s omnichannel programmatic advertising platform. By integrating Rocket Lab’s capabilities, MiQ aims to deliver a more comprehensive, end-to-end solution for brands and agencies seeking measurable growth across digital channels.

As part of the deal, Rocket Lab will enhance MiQ’s AI-powered operating system, Sigma, by contributing mobile and regional data into its extensive ecosystem of signals. This integration is expected to improve targeting precision and campaign performance, particularly in a mobile-first environment.

Founded in 2019 in Mexico, Rocket Lab has built a strong presence across Latin America and EMEA, supporting brands in industries such as retail, finance, and e-commerce. Its regional footprint, including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Uruguay, complements MiQ’s broader global reach and strengthens its position in emerging markets.

The acquisition follows MiQ’s recent purchase of Adsmovil, further reinforcing its strategy to expand in Latin America and other fast-growing regions where mobile adoption is rising rapidly.

Rocket Lab will continue to operate as an independent business unit under MiQ, with founder Juan Echavarria Coll remaining as CEO. The companies stated there will be no changes to organizational structures, ensuring continuity for clients and partners.
