MIRATECH, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based provider of emissions and acoustic control solutions for stationary engines, has acquired Advanced Catalyst Systems (ACS), a catalyst technology and emissions systems manufacturer based in Maryville, Tennessee. The deal expands MIRATECH’s U.S. catalyst manufacturing capacity and is intended to support rising demand for emissions-compliance solutions across domestic and international markets.

MIRATECH said ACS has been a long-time supplier and partner, and that the acquisition formalizes an established relationship by bringing ACS’ catalyst design, coating, and manufacturing capabilities into MIRATECH’s platform. The company highlighted ACS’ proprietary coating processes and quality track record as key factors behind the transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The combined organization will operate with an expanded footprint in East Tennessee, with MIRATECH pointing to integrated operations across Knoxville and Maryville aimed at improving delivery speed, increasing flexibility, and strengthening supply chain resilience. MIRATECH also said the combination is expected to accelerate development of next-generation catalyst solutions by aligning R&D teams and leveraging advanced coating and substrate technologies as global emissions standards continue to tighten.

MIRATECH positioned the acquisition as part of a broader strategy to build regional manufacturing and service capabilities close to customers while expanding its global footprint. The company said the expanded catalyst capacity will support growth across end markets including power generation, gas compression, industrial and OEM applications, as well as emerging use cases tied to clean power and emissions compliance.

ACS, which serves both engine and non-engine markets, provides catalyst design, manufacturing, and coating technologies and supplies coated substrates for emissions control applications in sectors such as power generation and industrial markets. MIRATECH said the acquisition strengthens its ability to deliver proprietary solutions at scale while creating a “catalyst center of excellence” in East Tennessee to support customers in North America and worldwide.
