MissionWired Acquires BWF To Form BWF Zuri And Expand Nonprofit Fundraising And Technology Expertise

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jun 2, 2026

MissionWired, a premier nonprofit fundraising firm, announced the acquisition of BWF, a provider of campaign strategy, donor engagement, analytics, and technology transformation services for higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. As part of the transaction, BWF will join forces with Zuri Group under the MissionWired umbrella to create BWF Zuri, a combined organization focused on helping nonprofits strengthen fundraising performance through integrated strategy, technology, and donor engagement capabilities.

The newly formed BWF Zuri will combine BWF’s expertise in fundraising campaigns, annual giving, donor engagement, and analytics with Zuri Group’s strengths in operations consulting and technology implementation. The organization aims to provide end-to-end support for nonprofits seeking to identify new donor prospects, deepen supporter relationships, and maximize the value of their fundraising data and systems.

MissionWired said the acquisition enhances its ability to help nonprofit organizations navigate a rapidly changing fundraising environment marked by declining donor participation, increased competition for donor attention, and the accelerating adoption of new technologies and artificial intelligence. The company believes the combined capabilities of MissionWired, BWF, and Zuri will enable nonprofits to better engage supporters across the entire donor lifecycle.

Zuri Group is an accredited partner across major nonprofit technology platforms, including Blackbaud, Salesforce, and Kindsight. The firm has worked with large organizations to support operational improvements and technology initiatives designed to drive fundraising outcomes.

BWF has built a reputation for providing campaign and annual giving services to organizations of varying sizes, from regional institutions to global nonprofits. The company’s fundraising and strategic advisory offerings are designed to support long-term growth and scalability.

According to the companies, the combination creates a platform capable of delivering fundraising strategy, operational consulting, donor analytics, and technology services in a unified offering. The goal is to help nonprofit organizations strengthen fundraising programs ranging from principal giving initiatives to broad-based donor engagement efforts.
