MITS Capital announced an investment in Dropla Tech, a Danish-Ukrainian defense technology company that develops edge-AI explosive-threat detection systems and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). Financial terms of the investment, including the company’s valuation, were not disclosed.
The investment will support Dropla Tech’s next phase of growth by expanding production capacity and strengthening collaboration between Ukraine’s and Europe’s defense technology ecosystems. The partnership also aligns with a broader effort to deepen Danish-Ukrainian defense-industrial cooperation.
Founded in 2023 by four Ukrainian entrepreneurs and headquartered in Odense, Denmark, Dropla Tech operates engineering and production activities in Ukraine. As part of the investment, the company has joined the MITS Acceleration Program, where it will receive operational support, assistance with NATO market entry, and access to expertise and strategic partnerships across MITS Capital’s defense technology portfolio. Dropla Tech is one of eight companies participating in the accelerator’s third cohort and the first to be publicly announced.
Dropla Tech’s flagship product is Blue Eyes Warbox, an edge-AI system designed to detect explosive threats—including mines, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and drones—in real time using aerial sensor feeds without requiring cloud connectivity. The platform has been assigned a NATO Stock Number (NSN 7010-61-019-5238), making it procurable through NATO procurement channels, and is currently deployed with Ukrainian Armed Forces units and security services. The company also plans to adapt the technology for humanitarian demining applications.
Beyond AI-powered detection, Dropla Tech has developed two modular unmanned ground vehicle platforms—Dropla 4×4 and Dropla 6×6—that support missions including casualty evacuation (CASEVAC), logistics, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), remote weapon stations (RWS), and counter-drone operations. The company also offers Dropla Seer, a mobile multi-sensor reconnaissance platform that combines aerial and ground sensors with Blue Eyes AI for humanitarian mine-clearing efforts.
The company has demonstrated rapid growth since raising €2.4 million in August 2025 from investors including Maj Invest, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), Final Frontier, and others. In less than a year, Blue Eyes increased its confirmed explosive-threat detections in Ukraine from several hundred to more than 5,000 while maintaining accuracy above 90%.
Dropla Tech has also expanded its strategic partnerships across Europe’s defense ecosystem. Earlier this month, the company began integrating its UGVs with Germany-based Quantum Systems’ MOSAIC UXS mission software. It also signed a memorandum of cooperation with Ukrainian robotics developer Frontline Robotics at Eurosatory 2026.
Looking ahead, Dropla Tech plans to participate in Ukraine’s Build with Ukraine initiative while increasing manufacturing capacity to produce up to 3,000 UGVs annually. Through MITS Capital’s portfolio of 20 defense technology companies, the company expects to pursue additional collaborations spanning sensing technologies, electronic warfare, communications, and autonomous systems.
KEY QUOTES:
“We were not looking for capital. We were looking for infrastructure. MITS Capital brings an operating back office across jurisdictions, a portfolio of Ukrainian defense companies we can build with on joint R&D, sub-integration, and interoperability. For a company scaling between Denmark and Ukraine, that is worth more than any check.”
Viacheslav Shvaidak, Co-Founder and CEO of Dropla Tech
“We are excited to welcome Dropla Tech to the MITS family. Viacheslav has achieved an important feat of creating a truly transnational Danish-Ukrainian defense company. We look forward to working with Dropla Tech’s team as a key pillar of MITS Capital’s mission: to defeat Russia in Ukraine and integrate Ukraine into Europe’s defense architecture.”
Perry Boyle, Co-Founder and CEO of MITS Capital
