Mizkan America Buying Beverage Company Zing Zang

Mizkan America has acquired Chicago-based Zing Zang, the top-selling Bloody Mary brand in America, for an undisclosed sum. This acquisition significantly boosts Mizkan’s presence in the growing cocktail mixer category, which the company internally refers to as “Inspired Mixology.”

Mizkan, a leading pasta sauce manufacturer, plans to leverage its expertise in tomato-based foods to drive growth and innovation across both organizations. Zing Zang’s portfolio includes a variety of popular non-alcoholic drink mixes, known for their premium taste, affordability, and use of real fruit and vegetable juices and natural sweeteners.

For the foreseeable future, Zing Zang will continue to operate as a separate business unit. Before this acquisition, Zing Zang, LLC was owned by NexPhase Capital.
