Mobile Communications America has acquired AVC Inc., doing business as Arkansas Valley Communications, expanding MCA’s Arkansas service footprint from three to eight locations.
AVC is a Motorola Premier Partner with more than 50 years of experience providing two-way radio systems and communications services across Arkansas.
Headquartered in Russellville, AVC operates additional locations in North Little Rock, Jonesboro, Fayetteville, and Fort Smith.
The company specializes in Motorola two-way radio sales, service, and industrial telecommunications and is Motorola’s largest warranty service dealer in the Arkansas region.
More than half of AVC’s employees work in service roles, expanding MCA’s local technical support, maintenance and lifecycle service capacity.
AVC serves customers across healthcare, construction, transportation, education and manufacturing.
Following the acquisition, those customers will gain access to MCA capabilities spanning mission-critical voice communications, network infrastructure, video surveillance, access control, in-building wireless, mass notification and nationwide technical support.
MCA serves more than 65,000 customers nationally across public safety, commercial, education, healthcare, utilities and government markets.
